Glad to see Selma Blair proudly out and about, owning her MS diagnosis, and that this is getting mainstream coverage (see full article below). Because representation matters.
And, for what it's worth, I happen to think she looks amazing, not just in spite of, but because she is rocking that badass cane.
Not everyone with MS would be able to look so put together, or even be able to make it out to interact with the world in this way. Nor should they need or want to.
Nevertheless, this will help to destigmatize disabilities and mobility aids...not to be seen as signs of weakness or limitation, but of beauty, strength, courage and resilience. ❤️💪🏼
